My family ties in Cape May go back to 1886 when my Grandfather and
Grandmother, who were from Philadelphia, purchased a Summer home here.
Many years later, my parents, who were also from the same city, purchased a home here
and my love affair with Cape May began. While in High School and College I worked at many
of the restaurants in town and there were not nearly as many as there are now.
I married in 1970 and moved to Cape May where we raised our children. Having always been
a "people person" I decided in 1984 that a career in Real Estate was something I would
like to pursue. Always active in my children's schools, I soon became active with the
Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May.
I served from 1993-96 on the Board of Directors and 1996-2002 on the Executive Board. I
took a year off and was re-appointed to the Board of Directors in 2004. I was the
co-chairperson of the Great Cape May Foot Race from 1997-2001.
Also in the realm of public service, I have been President of the Cape May Women's
Kiwanis Club and Secretary of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners.
I have been a recipient of the Board of Realtors Million Dollar Sales/Circle of
Excellence Award from 2002-2006.
Our Coldwell Banker office has been in business in Cape May for over 100 years with the
Broker of Record, a 4th generation owner. We are fully computerized which enables me to
e-mail my clients notification of a home that has just gone up for sale in a matter of
minutes. I also have this capability with Summer Rental listings.
I firmly believe in service to the customer during and after the sale and I am
truly committed to my profession...and to my love of Cape May. |
